Thats a Wrap!! Editing has been completed, the deadline was made, and submission will be happening this week!

The time frame on this film had to be less than 20 minutes, so with that being said, not everyone was used in the film itself, however, you ALL played a huge part in making this happen. I wish we could have used everyone's whole interview, but after interviewing over 15 people, at about an hour each interview, that obviously puts us way over the 20 minute mark.

This has taken a lot of work from a lot of people, I wanted to just say thanks to a few of them here, without them, this film would not have happened.

Thanks to:

Jordan Griffiths

Summer Estes

Danielle May

Robert and Valaine Brown

Everyone who interviewed

Everyone who has spread the word about this film to their friends/family

Stephanie Rhodes

Thanks again to all of you!

I have created our movie poster as well for the film! Here it is, please spread the word, and look forward to the release in January 2013!

Just a quick update on the film, and sorry, no pictures today. We have wrapped up shooting interviews for now. The film is coming along as scheduled. We have a very tight deadline for the edit process. So with that being said, the anxiety levels are high. I can tell you all, that it is very exciting to see everything coming together in edits. Everyone who interviewed are the ones who made this happen, and I'm very excited to show you all the final cut.

It's Crunch Time! We are starting to wrap up the interviews at this time, that way we have enough time to spare for editing, and delivery. With that being said, we were able to squeeze a few more interviews in the last 2 nights.

Hailey speaks to us about how the sisters in her Singles Ward have always been there to help her through her struggles, and how being apart of her Relief Societies Presidency has helped her serve others in times of need.

Bekah was happy to come over and answer some questions. Being a school teacher, and being a member of the LDS church has brought her much joy in her life. She explains some very true feelings with us.

Brother and Sister Heaps sat down with us and discussed their feelings about the singles ward they are directly involved in. They have a testimony of the singles ward system, and the joy and happiness it can bring young single adults.

As an extremely talented singer, we learn about Stephanie, and her choices in the music industry, and what brought her to Utah. Stephanie talks about how the Gospel has deeply influenced her life, and gotten her through her own personal struggles.

As we shot 2 more interviews tonight, I realized that through all of our interview processes, I have felt that people really do rely on the gospel, and it is amazing to see how many young adults actually truly have a knowledge for the truth. With every interview I have come away feeling such a strong feeling of love and truth from every single person.

We were able to film Courtney tonight about her feelings of her Singles Ward, and how it benefits her in her life. Specifically being able to give service to anyone around. She has some pretty amazing stories about service and what it truly means to give.

Danielle was nice enough to get in the hot seat tonight, and tell us her story how she ended up in Utah from Minnesota. Being from out of state, she brings a whole new aspect on the singles ward life. She also tells us about some amazing stories that have given her a huge testimony, and a true conversion to the gospel.

We went down to Temple Square on conference Sunday, and were able to get some pretty sweet footage. There were so many people wanting to hear the good word of our Prophet. It was pretty amazing to see, and feel.

We were back at interviews again tonight. We fit 2 in this evening starting with Colton Brockbank.
Colton has an amazing testimony of trials and tribulations. He is a huge believer in his families, and he shares his life story with us. Such an amazing athlete, pretty much pro wakeboarder, and just an all around loyal and trusting friend.

Karissa was such a great interview. She brings such an emotional testimony to this film. She talks about how she was guided to go on a mission, and why her singles ward is important to her in her life.

Tonight we were lucky enough to interview Erika. Being a teacher in the Salt Lake Valley, she knows why the gospel is important to her, and how it helps her with her job. Look forward to this interview, because it was powerful!

Here are a few other shots from tonight's shoot. Enjoy!

Tonight we spoke with Jeremy. Jeremy has been very successful with multiple things in his life. He is proud to be LDS, and tells us about his friendships he has made thanks to the Singles Wards.

This week is going to be extremely busy with new interviews, look forward to seeing some friendly female faces start showing up. Some you might even recognize.

Tonight was a busy night. We were able to shoot 3 interviews of some of our closest friends in our ward. They all bring different types of stories, and thoughts to this film.

Starting off with Trevor:
Trevor brings a lot to this film, he is a talented water and snow skier. He is currently in school to become a pilot and will also talk to anyone about what it means to serve.

Our second interview was with Jake:
Being a Marine, and seeing all types of scenarios across the world has brought him to a different view on people, and life itself. Jake was a powerful interview, and he brings a lot to the table for this cause.

Our last interview for tonight was with Jackson:
Jackson, an extremely talented carpenter, speaks to us about the family unit, and how he serves his family and why it is so important to serve. He is always ready to serve his friends, family, and even complete strangers.

This is today's update, and like always, share this blog with anyone! We are very excited to see this film starting to take shape. We still have a lot of work to do, but we are thankful to have such a talented and determined crew.

Today was a perfect day to collect some more stock footage for the film. There were bright blue skies, and the temple stood out great with the clouds. I'm sure some of these shots today will make the film.
We were hard at work getting some B-Roll footage of the Draper Temple yesterday. Some of these will be used in the film. We are scheduled for 3 more interviews tomorrow. We are looking forward to meet with those people.

Today was the first day on set, and we started off strong with Dan Bigelow. An avid cross-fit athlete, and hilarious improv actor. Dan brings this film a unique look into the life of a missionary, and how that brought the skills he needs in his career. Find out more once the film is released! Stay posted here for further updates!
